About Two Connected Souls

How It All Began

I started my career in the construction industry at age 19 where I owned and operated a company for 27 years and where at one point, I had over a hundred people working for me. After watching my younger brother pass away at the age of 42 while in hospice in 2010, I had a non-stop series of very dire situations come across my path in life after that. Those situations eventually caused my "Titanic" to sink, and I lost everything I owned except my family and my house.

During that time as I was trying to reinvent myself, and I started to write this book based on the experience I had when my brother passed away in 2010 and it took me several years of going back and forth with it until I finally completed it in 2014.

Then I just saved it on my desktop and went out and started a completely new career and always thought that someday I might publish it. Well, years later when my 13-year-old triplets were about 9 years old, I told them that daddy had written this story years before and I wanted to read it to them and they all love it and tried convincing me to publish it. It was at that moment I then realized that maybe I really do have a story to tell. For these young kids could clearly understand the concept of the book and get caught up in the emotion of it all.

I still have not published it at that point. It stayed on my computer desktop for another 4 years until my kids started coming to me and saying that I needed to publish that book. I kept saying some day, some day I will and now that day has arrived.

My Mission

Writing Two Connected Souls was an inspiration based on healing. The struggles at that moment in my life were real and the completion of this book was like Chicken Soup for the Soul. I not only wanted to paint a picture or vision in the readers mind but also feel the emotional impact of the story as well as deliver a compelling and heartfelt storyline.
